How do I find the model number on my device?
The model number for your device can typically be found either underneath or behind the device. It will usually be next to a UPC code. The model number is different from the serial number though. The serial number is used for identifying the specific device, not the model line that it is associated with.

What impacts power consumption for a device?
There are many factors that impact the power consumption for a device. Below are some examples of configurations/settings that can impact the power consumption of a device:
- The more food you have in the refrigerator the less power it uses, as it has less empty space to cool. If you don’t have enough food, put pitchers of water in the fridge. This will provide cold water and reduce the empty space that needs to be cooled.
- The temperature setting will impact how much energy is used.
- The number of times the door is opened will impact the power consumption, as it will need to re-cool after losing some of the cold air.
- Brightness of the television will increase the power consumption.
